The Standard Mounts work with most factory crossbars from manufacturers like Subaru and Toyota. They're also a great fit for aftermarket options that fit the dimensions above.

The XL Mounts work great with oversized crossbars found on ladder racks, larger aero crossbars, and factory racks like the Nissan X-Terra.

The T-slot Mounts work with crossbars that are designed to have mounting hardware bolted into the slot along the top.
Trxstle T-nuts are 12mm wide and use M8 bolts. They will fit in T-slot tracks this size or larger.

Carrying these on my Tacoma not only looks great but it’s a HUGE time saver when we go to launch. We collapse them to about half length when not in use and then extend them to 11’4” when we need them. The time it takes to rig up 4 rods for the drift boat before launching and then to put it all away takes time. This saves me that time and my rods are always protected fully rigged. Their customer service is on a whole other level.

The Trxstle Team Cares !!
I spent time trying to decide between Trxstle CRC v3.0 and Riversmith River Quiver 2 Banger. Riversmith is a local company, and I had the opportunity to talk with their team at the Denver Fly Fishing Show. My biggest goal was finding a system that I could easily move between two different vehicles while also being simple to store when not in use.
One of my vehicles has standard crossbars, while the other has a rooftop tent that takes up almost the entire roof. After brainstorming with the Riversmith team for quite a while, we just couldn’t come up with a setup that would let me quickly swap the rod holder between vehicles. The biggest issue was that the holder had to slide through the entire length of the T-channels, which made installation and removal more time-consuming and frustrating than I wanted.
Then I reached out to Trxstle and spoke with Morgan — and he solved the problem immediately.
The Trxstle team came up with two different mounting solutions specifically tailored to each vehicle and even custom designed a mount that attaches perfectly to the side of our rooftop tent. For the standard crossbars they helped configure an oversized mount that allows us to run both the rod holder and our cargo box side-by-side on the crossbars without sacrificing functionality or convenience.
What really sold me on Trxstle was the flexibility of their design. Their mounting plates can slide in at multiple locations along the rod holder, instead of just going in at the end. This feature makes the setup from one vehicle to another is incredibly quick and easy. I can swap it over by myself in just a few minutes.
Another feature I like is how compact the holder becomes when folded down. That smaller footprint makes storage, travel, and switching between setups so much easier than I expected.
On top of all that, Trxstle’s customer service has been outstanding. Anytime we’ve had questions or needed help, they’ve responded quickly and gone above and beyond to make sure everything worked perfectly. It’s rare to find a company that combines innovative engineering with genuinely great customer support.

Great product that fits my style of fishing, Euro Nypmhing. With the Sage ESN Rod at 10’6”, and my Hardy 11’2” ESN rod, this thing saves me 20 minutes of rigging up and that means 20 minutes of fishing. Customer service is the BEST! Great product, great quality!

Having done a bit of research, the euro CRC was the obvious choice. The hardest part for me was mounting it to the roof of a 2025 Toyota Tacoma. I couldn’t be happier. I can run it at 3/4 length and it holds rods to 9’2” or any rod in half. And it works well at full length for my longest rods. Service and quality second to none!

Finally got to put my CRC Rod Carrier to the test this past weekend—and even caught a few fish! I can’t say enough about how well this carrier performed. Not having to break down my rods for every trip to and from the river was a total game-changer. Just throw on the waders and boots, pop open the case, and slide out fully rigged rods—ready to fish.
Installation the first time took a bit more effort than I expected, but overall, the setup was pretty straightforward. I’ll definitely be looking into the locking knob kit though—the “special” security nuts are a bit too special, if you know what I mean.
After looking at other brands, I kept coming back to this one for its collapsible design (perfect for my rooftop or truck bed) and the way it safely holds rods without putting stress on the guides. Plus, the fact that it’s made in the USA was a big deal for me.
If I had one suggestion for the Trxstle team: ditch the security nut and include the locking knob as a standard feature—it might save customers a few four-letter words during installation!
I finally picked up the Trxstle CRC fly rod carrier, and after putting it through some miles I can say it’s worth the hype. The thing that stood out right away is how solid it feels — not flimsy at all. It’s built like something that’s actually going to last, not like gear you’ll be replacing in a season.
Setup was way easier than I expected, and I like that it collapses down when I’m not using it. The telescoping design makes it easy to keep on the car without feeling like I’m hauling a giant piece of pipe around everywhere.
What I really like though is the peace of mind. I can keep rods rigged up, safe, and ready to go, which means more time actually fishing and less time fumbling around in parking lots stringing things together. I’ve driven it down some rough roads and at highway speeds, and my rods stayed locked in and protected the whole time.
Overall, if you fish a lot and value your rods, this thing is a game-changer.
I bought these roof rack mounts for my Rhino Cross Bars on my Grenadier and they work just perfectly. I love them and my Trxstle Rod Carrier.

Seems like a quality product and should work out very well for my needs but what really impressed me was the customer service and care that they showed. Everyone follows through and seems to really care that all issues are resolved. To me that is important!
Wrote customer service to ask if the carrier would fit on my 2025 4Runner SR5, had a very prompt response from Morgan helping me out. He also recommended the T-slot locking kit as the 6th gen 4Runners now have T-slot racks - not something I would have noticed otherwise. Timely shipment and the installation required no additional tools. As you can see, it fit on the stock roof rack with room to spare. Haven't even used it yet but based on customer service and the obvious quality of the materials alone, it's an easy 5 stars. Thanks Trxstle!
After a lot of research I decided to purchase the Trxstle rod holder solution. Key features that led me to this decision included inverted rod support (to protect the eyelets), an expandable package that can be used for a full-length, half-length, or broken-down transport, and an easy lock system that makes taking the rod holder on and off the vehicle easy to do. The rod holder looks very cool with the all-black color I chose. One small hiccup on my order was a slightly damaged lock assembly (nothing to do with the rod holder) and Trxstle replaced it immediately and at no cost. I highly recommend this rod holder and this company. I'll be back for more equipment soon!
This thing is sick!!!! Been waiting a year or two to pull the trigger on one of these, glad I finally did. I love the convenience of storing a fully rigged rod and never have to break them foen again. Thanks y’all!!!
The entire fly rod carrier system is an awesome design. Especially the way it collapses for storage. The custom side mounting brackets work perfectly with the Front Runner rack fully loaded with my overlanding gear.
